Fruit flies have a circadian rhythm, just like we do. This means that at certain times of day, most people feel tired (mornings, for most?) and at other times of day most people feel awake (evenings, for me!).

Just like that, the flies are more awake in the mornings and less awake in the afternoons! I don’t know about evenings/nights — I don’t work in the lab in those hours to find out! 😀
