      Most cells in our bodies die at some point. Usually there are other, new, cells to take their place.

      This happens with brain cells sometimes too.

      If people have certain diseases, their brain cells die more than other people’s. These are called neurodegenerative disease and include Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s & usually only affect older people.
