      Hi there 🙂

Cancer effects 1 in every 3 people and is normally something that will kill them unless we can get rid of it.

At the moment we only have fairly basic techniques to get rid of cancer like cutting it out or stopping everything growing in your body (which is why your hair falls out when you get chemotherapy) but if you miss some of the cancer cells with these techniques you can be left with some that re-grow and are hard to treat so we need cancer treatments that work really well and just get the cancer and don’t leave any behind.

I got into cancer research because one of my parents died of cancer and so it means a lot to me.

If we can stop 1 in 3 people dying that would be absolutely amazing and it would effect nearly every family in the world!
