Question: When you get the flu vaxiene why do they ingect the flu into you at first???????

  So they inject you with just some of the proteins of flu, not the whole thing. These proteins train your immune system to recognize the flu virus so that next time your body sees it (like when someone near you sneezes…) it has practiced and it know what to do to fight the virus.
  
  There are some vaccines where they inject you with the disease, like the mumps vaccine, but the inject a very damaged form of the disease so it cant hurt you and instead just trains your immune system.
