• Question: What makes you get a bad brain memory?

      I’m not sure what you mean by this question.

      If it’s about losing a memory, it’s very complicated. Nobody really knows exactly how memories get stored or why certain memories stay longer than others.

      Certainly memories that are very strong (scary, sad, happy) stay around longer or memories of unique things (the one time you were at Disney World) last as well — but day to day memories get rewritten over quite easily — like what you had for breakfast 2 weeks ago on Tuesday. (though since I always have the same thing, that might be easy to answer, I wouldn’t actually remember what I had!)
