• Question: Is it possible to freeze your self and stay alive?

      It is possible to freeze cells for a long time and wake them up but a whole person is slightly more difficult.

      At the moment is someone is totally frozen we don’t have the technology to wake them back up.

      What is cool though is that if you pump out a person’s blood put it through a freezer and pump it back into them so that they are really really cold on the inside this can actually slow down how quickly they are dying but I can’t imagine it feels very nice… there’s a lot of scientists looking into this.

      We cant freeze you, but it is possible to freeze a fertilised egg which is a potential person….

      It might be possible in the future but there are a lot of problems we would have to overcome so I wouldn’t hold your breath, would you want to be persevered? And if so, when would you like to be woken up?
