If you’d like to become a scientist, learn as much as you can about whatever field of science interests you & take as many science & maths classes as you can.

Being a scientist requires a lot of knowledge that you then build on the more advanced you get through your education. The better you learn the basics of science and maths now, the easier it will be as you get to the more advanced science & the more interesting it will get! 🙂

I would absolutely recommend it… being a scientist is great fun.

It is very hard work though and you have to be the type of person who is good at solving problems and being organised enough to write down all your findings in a proper way so that you know what you’ve done and what the results were etc.

If you’re unsure then there are loads of summer schools in universities for people your age to have a go at being a scientist to see if you like it… i’d definitely recommend those
