No, it’s too small and there are too many other things nearby that are of a similar size. I think it is better to refer to all of them as objects in the Kupier Belt (the belt of ice and rocky object beyond Neptune) .
It think the problem is that, when Pluto was discovered, astronomers thought it was the same size as the Earth. It was only later that they discovered it was much smaller. If we’d known how small it was when it was discovered, we would never have called it a planet.
