      Hello there,
I am a geologist so I ma interested in how rivers, coasts and oceans work. Where mud and sand are moved from and to is important as it controls where the rivers are and where the coast is. Most importantly if we understand that we can use this to predict what will happen in the future with climate change and sea-level rise.
In geology looking at mud rocks and sand stone from ancient rivers and seas tells us what Earth was like in the past – Earth has been a complete ice world in the past but also a lot warmer – a few million years ago there was a tropical rain forest on Antarctica!
