So I think this is more Davids area than mine.. but I think that unfortunately black holes don’t go anywhere for us, we would be spagettified as ours legs would be stretched into a long noodle shape which would probably not be a good long term survival plan…

But if we could build a ship of something magical (maybe unobtainium) that could resist these forces I think we would have to go there to find out, black holes are so dense that not much information escapes. Even Einstein didnt think that they were real and they were only accepted by most scientists in the 1960s!

Like Clare, I think David will have a better idea given that blowing up suns and planets makes black holes!

I think the only way we can get through a black hole without been squished and stretched beyond all possibilities is to travel faster than light…an not even Usain Bolt is that quick! As to where it will take us – some people think it goes to a different dimension, parallel universe etc.

I am not so sure! What do you think!???
