So HSP stands for Henoch-Schönlein purpura, a type of rash caused by an inflammation of blood vessels in children.

But it is not caused by a specific virus (so I dont think there is a HSP virus), HSP is probably due to a problem with the childs immune system, triggered by a viral or bacterial infection.

      Does that help?
