Hi everybody, Thank you so much for voting for me to win I’m A Scientist it means a lot and I had loads of fun chatting with you in the sessions and answering your questions.

You all had some awesome questions (some of which were actually very hard!) and I learnt a lot as well. I was a little nervous at first when all your questions came flooding in and trying to keep up with the chats but it was really fun and I ended up having a great time.

I got into science because it is a really exciting job where you use your brain every day and get to ask crazy questions and try weird and cool things just because you want to understand more about who we are and how we work.

Hopefully you all saw that even just in our group all 5 of us were doing really different things and that science can be about trying to understand anything at all that interests you no matter how silly it might sound (scientists have got awards for tickling baby rats and listening to how they laugh before!)

I hope you all had fun during the week and that you learnt a lot about science and realised that scientists aren’t all mad old guys with crazy hair! I really hope to see some of you in the future as scientists helping to change the world.”
